Dr. Melissa has had a long rewarding career in veterinary medicine. She surrounds herself with an amazingly talented and compassionate staff. Her strong points involve listening to the client. They are the direct line to the patient. Much information is collected from this strong bond.
She finds enormous satisfaction in working up the routine surgical and medical cases, but loves to be challenged by second opinions and more difficult cases.
Dr. Melissa has very little free time, but when she does, she likes to hang out with her loving husband and two grown sons. She cannot wait for grandchildren- until then she is blessed with a grand dog and grand cat.
Dr. Ken graduated from Kansas State University of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He worked at several small animal clinics in Madison and Dane County before accepting a position as the Chief Staff Veterinarian at the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) in Waukesha, where he has been for the past 16 years. He joined the staff at the Noble Hound to utilize his surgery and medical expertise in a private clinic setting, in addition to remaining part-time at HAWS.
Ken has one daughter, Anya, who is attends Macalester College in St. Paul Minnesota, and his wife, Natalie, is a professor at UW-Madison in their Master of Science in Biotechnology Program. He and his family currently have three dogs named Annabelle, Kaspar, and Atticus, and two Love Birds named Ifa and Kinda.
Ken loves spending time with his family, and in his free time can be found walking the dogs in their east side Madison neighborhood, riding his bike, swimming, playing volleyball, doing yoga, or cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Wisconsin Badgers, or Green Bay Packers. His favorite is watching the UW Women’s Volleyball team.
Keenan is a long time staff member who works all areas at Noble Hound. He has loved working with animals as long as he can remember and truly enjoys helping them.
He has a dog named Nemo. He was rescued 4 years ago when he was shot as a puppy and lost his front leg. He is the greatest dog anyone could ever ask for.
Keenan loves the small tight knit group that we have here at Noble Hound.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
